It's a 13 Year-Old 46%ABV NCS PPS branded as Midleton with a nice case - that's the good news...

Here's hoping there's a decent-sized IWS discount...

It's making the Turf Mór look cheap again. Or maybe there is a standard price of about €50 per 3 years maturation.
IrishWhiskeyChaser wrote:I'm still pretty stunned by the price of Turf Mór ...I'll probably get one but don't think it'll be a regular occurance at that price but it may mature over the next few years. I'm all for paying for quality but I also have a dim view of the fashion of charging over the odds for barely made whiskey not matter how good it is.
I'm sorry you should be trying to instill a major following in a product and a 3yo whiskey keenly priced is a perfect oppertunity which I fear Cooley are totally missing out on. Laphroaig has done it with the Quarter Cask so why can't the Irish Whiskey industry follow suit instead of following the few like Adrbeg and Bruichladdich which over charge for their products.
I really need to go on a 2 week holiday to see if Mr Cranky will take a back seat but I fear even that is not enough.
Looking forward to the Tyrconnell 18yo though .
