Ace wrote:$30 at the PLCB stores? That's the same price as the (regular) rate for Tully 10 yr. Jump on it! I got a bottle of 12yr from a store in San Francisco in May and have been afraid to drink any more of it because my local PLCB stores don't carry it as a regular stock item.

At that price you cannot turn your back on it ...
Tullamore is quite under rated but with the new line up much more to offer these days. I think we kind of forget aboutr Tully due to the fact that the regular Blend was the sole long standing bottle for such a long time and was seen as a very light easy drinkable blend. How they have turned the brand around in a few years.

yea Ace, i live in PA. starting 8/23 the tullamore 12yo went on sale for $29.99 for 750ml. original price is $35.99 ace, check the lcb website. just google pa wine and spirits and it should pop up. you can do a search for certain items in a county and it will show you which stores carry it.

brettie vedder wrote:yea, there are 2 10yo's. the blend and malt. i heard neither are really worth the extra money over the NAS. i am interested in the 12yo though. already have a jameson 12yo distillery and special reserve. this is off topic, but does anyone know if its legal to ship opened bottles from ireland to america? my entire collection is still in ireland with my wife. shes not due over for a few months and i dont think its legal to bring opened bottles on the plane. this could be a major dilemma.

I can pop up and help her empty them and then you'll have no problem getting the bottles over
How many bottles have you got??? and how is your wife getting her stuff over to the states. Obviously on the plane but is she olanning taking a suit case or 6 or is she getting a crate done up? In all fairness you probably could maybe get only 2 bottles into a suit case to be on the safe side just make sure she tapes down the tops with decent tape i.e. the thick banded brown stuff or there is a posiblity of spilages. Baggage gets treated fairly roughly in airports.
