A ramble through the Peak District. The start of a days walking. It was very hazy ( toward the sun ) and cold.

Breakfast stop. Blue skies but blowing a freezing cold gale, that never let up all day. Edale is off picture to the left and the hill on the right is part of the Kinder 'Massif'.

The haze was annoying at time but the Mrs' compact coped quite well. This is further up, almost at the top of the ridge on the Grinsbrook Horseshoe.
