Let's talk whiskey.

For those with a sweet tooth!

I was in Flemings in Dundrum on Sunday and happened to see some tubs of Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey Ice Cream! Could be a good idea for a desert after a tasting! :D

Is that Murphy's ice cream? I just checked their website because I knew they did a whiskey ice cream. They used to use Paddy but I see now they have switched to Kilbeggan. They are in Wicklow Street so it's pretty handy to Brooks.

That ice cream sounds marvellous! I only with we could get that over here. At least we get some really nice Italian Gelato, the vanilla is the best!
Maybe I should bring a flask to the Italian Caffe, and pour a dram over the gelato! :D
Right now, I am having a few McVitie's Ginger Nut bisquits with my Black Bush. I find that a wonderful combination.
Also, at Christmas my boss gave me a box of dark chocolate coated ginger, which needless to say goes down very well with a whiskey!
Cheers,
Carl

That's a good tip. Our next tasting in Dublin will be Whiskey & Chocolate.
