what would you folks recomend as my first book

i see the irish whiskey bible-- but i really dont know what to get--
I can not however spend more than 25- 30 US dollars on a book.
I'm interested in becoming a bit more familiar with these whiskeys((labels or styles)). At this point all i know is that there is something called irish whiskey and i tried to make one style.

Any suggestions please

The Whiskeys of Ireland by Peter Mulryan would not be a bad place to start. Very concise and still fairly up to date.

You can also look for

Classic Irish Whiskey by Jim Murry. Is another ... a bit older but more detailed and good for history etc. However it is being sold on AMazon second hand and the prioces are a bit OTT. Probably be able to get it for well under 20Euro in Europe if you can find somewhere that will post to you.

i realised afterwards that you had only posted one book lol well it was a short list--
im checking and have seen the book used foe 16 USD and over 100USD. i guess its a good one. ill be loking around for the first one for a while.
