books

Let's talk whiskey.

books

I have a number of books on the art of distilling . I am wondering if there are any books published in Ireland that are dedicated to the art of irish whiskey distilling.

I have never seen one this side of the pond and any of the so called highet tech books on distilling are sooo expensive that average folks cant touch them.

I would send to ireland for such a book if it is afordable.

Any thoughts or leads on this? :D

thanks to a tip on where the bibliography is i purchased 3 books-
2 on irish whiskey
1000 years of irish whiskey
and
whiskeys of ireland

the third one is for a hobby i am attempting to persue
The Biotechnology of Malting and Brewing (Cambridge Studies in Biotechnology)"
this should get me more interested and keep me busy.

I really cant describe how fascinated i am by this style. perhaps because i forsee the possibility of eventually liking the taste of it.

in my mind, irish whiskeys are genrally lighter and not harsh.
