Eddu Buckwheat whisky

As made in France. From buckwheat. But Buckwheat isn't a grain - it's a flower. Should this be called whisky at all?

Interesting observation and I certainly have no idea .... do we know what grain is? Is grain not just a general term for Seed. Further do France have and legal legislation on how to make french whisk(e)y ????
