Let's talk whiskey.

Dunphy's Deluxe Blended Irish Whiskey Teapot

Postby mr.bb » Thu Sep 30, 2010 11:12 am

Hi all

we have been asked through our website if anybody has any information on the following, many thanks in advance

I have just been given a Dunphy's Deluxe Blended Irish Whiskey Teapot (unopened, though the cork in the spout may have shrunk).

I can't find any info;
when was it produced
how old might it be
what is it's value

If there is a cork issue, is it still drinkable?

Thanks for your help.

Don't have much info but these were made for the US market. Empty ones crop regular enough but I have not seen a full one in a while.

The state of the contents really depends on how good or bad the cork is and how high the fill level is.

It won't hard you though no matter how it is but if it has been exposed to the air it may have gone a bit flat or dull in taste.
