...and its bringing a lot of other fine whiskeys with it, like Tullamore Dew, The Irishman and Cooley, which is great.

More awards - http://pr-usa.net/index.php?option=com_ ... &Itemid=30

There's no end to the awards for whiskies, but this seems like a good one...

Had a wonderful trip to Midleton Yesterday and I cannot thank IDL enough ... they could not have been nicer. A day to remember as we got a very detailed tour of the working distillery. I'll post up something on the tour when I get time but I can now attest to the size of the opperation and the amazing bits of magic they do down there. We also had the pleasure of meeting Billy Leighton(Master Blender), David Quinn(Master of Science) & Liam O'Leary(Distillery Manager) all of whom were a delight to meet. Leo might also do a post on the Jameson 5star (circa 1915-1918) which we actually opened 8-) .

Stay tuned

Did you see the Oompa Loompas?

I'm looking forward to several full accounts of that trip ;)
