A warm welcome to all our newly registered members.

We have set up this society in an effort to encourage all persons with any small bit of curiosity in whiskey to join us. Whether it is to be able to appreciate a broader range of whiskies or just learn more about whiskey we hope to do this in a friendly and sociable manner. No matter if you are 18 or 108, male or female from regular drinker to novice we hope that this society would prove a comfortable setting for all to enjoy and explore the wonderful multifaceted subject of Whiskey.

We encourage you to take an active part in making this forum a great community and join the society and take part in hopefully many tasting that we hope to arrange.

Okay we are building slowly but surely ... we are nearing 50 members.

For a forum that we have not actively advertised it is not bad going.

We are having a good July so far ... after hitting the 1000 posts mark we have seen a good bit of increased activity.

No half thanks to IainB who finally has rejoined from the old forum

Also this month we've had Hubes914, beeandvee88, scottmb23, sean and an honour to welcome bible thumpin' Jim Murray who decided to take time out of his busy schedule and pop his head in.
