Jamesons in a plastic bottle.

Postby ean_p » Fri Dec 22, 2017 2:03 am

Hi
I have just acquired a 1 litre bottle of Jamesons of an unknown age (possibly 80's) which is in a plastic bottle. I've tried to find any reference to the use of plastic bottles for the distribution of Jamesons but can not find any! Has anyone any information on the use of plastic and the contents of the whiskey therein please?

A lot of these bottles were from Spanish duty free airport shops. No idea on how good/bad the whiskey is now.
