There is also a re-design of Jameson bottle to make it 30% lighter
which I read about on an environmental piece last week. This is
probably part of the same project.

Was there talk of using a cork instead of a Screwcap a fer years ago?

Reactivating an old thread here just to Say personally
I am not a fan of the new clear bottle used on a lot
of the new Jameson expressions. The Green was what made
Jameson stand out in the first place and I believe was the
reason that Pernod Ricard made Jameson their leading
Irish whiskey brand when they took over IDL in mid '80's.
Any one else think the same :?:
