Tullamore Dew removed by Tesco

Hi im Marcus a newbie here but not a newbie to the fine taste of many a good Irish Whiskey. Im just curious does anyone know why Tescos have removed all bottles of Tullamore Dew untill tests have been carried out ?

Wow, that has all been very quite ...did you see a sign in Tescos or anything? It would be a sensation if there is a tainted batch but is it just the regular or all expressions (although they may not carry much of a range).

Very unusual, would love to hear more myself ....

The Tesco website ,has all sizes of regular T DEW marked as " unavailable at this time ".

Nothing on the Food Safety Authority website and the Tullamore range appears to still be available in other commercial outlets. I would hope that if there was a safety issue we would have heard about it by now.
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore; always carry a small snake - W.C. Fields et al.

Now that I think of it ... Could possibly be a franchising issue, maybe one side are not getting the deal they are looking for. So shelf space has been pulled or the supply has been pulled.

All very strange ... and interesting at the same time.

Another thing which makes me really sad when i think about D.E.W. is fact, that I could easily get Phoenix in every Tesco in Czech Republic and I cant get it in its motherland. Its just crazy. (I dont want to think about prices).

Yes, the Phoenix expression is really nice ... be nice to see a decent range on sale all right.

i didnt see :/ last year i got 43 on Salthill in Galway for 39e but looks like i drank all they had :(
