Hi David.
Congrats on the work to date.

Some minor things I have noticed:
In article 2; should we use the word 'independant' rather than 'independance'?
Article 6 appears to be missing? Or have I overlooked it?
Are we using an 'Americanised' spelling of Honourary?
Can we get a proposal in terms of the composition of the guiding 'Senate'?

Again Dave, thanks for your work to date. With something like this, it's more a case of the journey of a million miles starts with one step...!

Just to clarify... credit goes to ad hoc committe member, Gary, for all the hard work of pulling together the first draft. I just posted it on the site.

Just to clarify the point I made in the meeting, I think having the name of the society in Irish as well as English would be desirable.

When the changes mooted at the meeting are incorporated, I'll get my hands on a copy, post it up and flag it here.

I believe the constituion was adopted by general acclaim at one of the society meetings a few months ago. The website has the final version. Of course we will have an AGM every year (in November, if I remember rightly) where changes can be tabled.

I have just joined the forum, was looking at the page with the constitution on it and it only displays the first couple of lines for me under general provisions.

OK, you can try that again. I was making changes to the site last night but my internet connection is a bit flaky lately. It must have chopped the constitution file in mid-transfer.
