The Signet is wonderful and well worth trying if you can. They
have used chocolate (heavily roasted) malt in it and it gives
the whisky some amazing cocoa and coffee flavours as well as a
beautiful balance that may derive from some elderly 1970s malt
that is in the vatting. Seek it out for a try, but it is not
cheap. It retails in the UK for £110+.
If it were
cheaper I would have it as a standard drinker.
It's better to have drunk it all, than never to have drunk at
all.
