October 2015 Dublin tasting - Is Three the Magic Number?

Hello,

I thought I should do a shameless plug for the next IWS Dublin tasting, on Thursday 29 October, presented by Rachel Lindsay and myself. It's called "Is Three the Magic Number? Triple Distillation in Ireland, Scotland and the USA". The idea is to compare pot stills, blends, single malts and bourbons which have been triple distilled to see why a third distillation is attractive for distillers and drinkers. We have some pretty good whiskey in mind to try and I hope any society and forum members in the Dublin area can make it on the night (we know you will have had a lot of whiskey related events in the previous week or so!).
