I have a bottle of Midleton Master distillers selection Housewarming edition whiskey, wondering what prices these are fetching?

That was a great price. That auction was last November and that was the first bottle of the housewarming to come to auction. I think it was way over priced but someone wanted it bad.

I remember the first Midleton 26 that sold on whiskyauctions went for €1011 then a flood of them came on the market and the price dropped to €700.

I think a realistic price would be €250-300.

thanks for the info, still unsure whether to part with it or not. I suspect it will only appreciate in value or am i wrong?

Irish whiskey prices seem to jump around a lot. There are fewer collectors, so if and when they all get a bottle, the value can dip. Then again, the number of collectors seems to be increasing too and this is quite a limited bottling. In summary, I don't really know!

not much info about my bottle out there but other rare tipples have different pricing from different traders, seems to be quite a random & varied market.
