Tomatin are looking for STG£199.99 for a bottle of 1989: http://www.whiskyintelligence.com/2014/04/tomatin-releases-cu-bocan-1989-vintage-limited-edition-scotch-whisky-news/

Does anyone else perceive a bubble?

Does anyone have a needle?

Discuss.

It can be better to buy at auction these days. Port Ellens now launch at over £500, whereas you can get some at auction for around £200.

There seems to have been a real spike with new releases.
