New Limited Release Irish Whiskey Celebrating 100 Years of the Ryan’s at the Beggars Bush

Jack Ryan ‘Beggars Bush’ 12 year old Single Malt Irish Whiskey

The Ryan Family have been the proprietors of the Beggars Bush Public House on Haddington Road Dublin for 100 years this year, and to celebrate this rare centenary, they have recreated the atmosphere and flavour of ‘Ryan’s Malt’ which they produced in association with Dublin Whiskey Distillery until this famous distillery closed its doors in 1946. The Ryan Family has teamed up with The Teeling Whiskey Company, the leading independent Irish whiskey company, to produce a limited release 12 year old Single Malt Irish Whiskey. This limited release premium Irish whiskey was produced in the Cooley Distillery.

congratulations Alex! Judging by the cooley ref, is it basically like a 12 year old tyrconnell-style malt or have you done something strange to it?

Hi Fionnan

It is all from american bourbon casks, but I wouldn't say that it is a 12yr Tyrconnell. You will just have to buy a dram and see what your taste buds think! I hope to get a bottle of the cask strength edition for my collection. Cask selection was the key to this whiskies strength. I just hope that the guys at the BB like it.
