I see that the venue has just been announced for the AGM and final tasting for 2013. The AGM is scheduled I believe to start at 6.30 which could be problematic for a lot of members considering they will now have to get over to Dublin 8?

I left my notes behind be I think it went as follows.
1. Teeling blend IWS bottling
2. IDL 1988 Single Grain
3. Kilbeggan single malt 12,year old.
4. Irishman 12 year old Single malt limited edition.
5. Teeling 26 year old Malt.
6. IDL Pot Still 1995 in Virgin Oak.
7. Redbreast 21 year old.

The 18 year old SPS Virgin Oak was the clear winner. Awesome whiskey.

Sadly the SPS Virgin Oak is a one off too.

I think it was the finest whiskey I've tasted yet. I would love to get a bottle and see if I was right.

I think we should campaign IDL to bring this to market. Only 6000 bottles or so.

The positive thing here is that they have SPS of that age in Virgin oak so they will be putting it into something. I'm guessing it all isn't destined for the Jameson Gold.
