I am thinking about going this year - just wondering what did other people think of it in the previous years?

I went both years and hugely enjoyed it. I don't even care about the tasting aspect of it, just the chance to chat for hours about whiskey. I learned lots about new products and plans. The masterclasses are good too, though I found it difficult to split my time between them and the main floor. That's improved this year with the classes being held in the same venue. Less time wasted walking down and back to Buswells.

I think it's worth going to, though I am not sure I'll go this time around.

The most surprising thing about the event is the fact that Bushmills don't turn up.

I have just seen the Irish Craft Beer & Cider event advertised for Sep 5-8, so I'll add that shortly. Plenty of whiskey talk there last year.
