Very old bottle Jameson Dublin Whiskey

Hello, i am from Holland and i have an old bottle Jamesson & son Dublin whiskey limited

. "not a drop is sold till it`s seven years old".
Pure old . Pot still

Bottom bottle A 4 E 8 17 UGB
On the top marked as: Betts & co Trade mark london
Dessilled and bottled by John Jameson & son ltd.

Who can help me to tell how old this bottle possibly can be.

More pictures could help, but it looks like 50s or 60s. It would be from the old distillery in Dublin that closed in 1971. If I remember correctly Jameson stopped selling pure pot still in 1968.

Most likely 1950s to early 1960s

Thanks for the respons. I have put more pictures to it.
You are right the stoped botteling at `68 in st Bow`s

I also think it is befor 1970. I have tried to get unlock the code on the bottle ( A4E 8 17 UGB ).
UGB is: United Glass Bottles from the mid 20 s

I hope with this extra pictures you get more sight to it.

Almost certainly 1950s or early 60s, the pre-war labelling was quite different. A bottle like yours is pictured in adverts in the USA around 1958-60.

Yes earlier bottlings had by appointment to HM the King, up to the mid late 1940s, possibly dropped in 1948 when Ireland became a Republic (and no longer a member of the commonwealth). Hopefully my history is correct.
