I didn't find any new favourites last night but I loved the opportunity to explore where whiskey is going around the world. Dominic is a very engaging speaker too, with lots of personal anecdotes and opinion.

i was particularly amazed by his WIld Turkey 101 stories delivered totally off the cuff on a bottle that David and i literally picked up 10 minutes before the tasting from an off-license as a substitute for a whiskey that failed to arrive.

I similarly enjoyed the night and particularly liked the new zealand blend if only for the utter novelty of all that rose petal freshness.

glad to hear we were on the same page Leo. I also highly enjoyed the dutch rye. Great tasting altogether and Dominic was a fantastic speaker

It was a great night. Loved the stories. The Kentucky one in particular. Great opportunity to taste whiskeys we wouldn't normally ever get the chance to.

I only wish I could make the next tasting Fionnán, will there be any stories to accompany the whiskeys?
