I've a question! How can they sell that in the US given the issue that the authorities are supposed to have with the term 'Pure'?!
The days of the 'Single' are numbered methinks! :lol:

Well they're in a bit of a bind as there's an impending denominacion going through the EU to make "single pot still whiskey" as regionally specific as champagne and obviously 'pure' has its own stateside problems...

When is this going through? I heard that last year too but never heard any more.

They have a few versions of this, one with oats in the mash. I haven't tried either. I think they use much more unmalted barley than traditional in Irish pure pot still.
