Cask Shares

Let's talk whiskey.

Cask Shares

Does anyone have any shares in casks or casks maturing?

Given that it involves many bottles, this might be a place to swap a few bottles?

I have shares in a few casks, although I'm not sure at all when they'll be bottled.

Yeah...

Other than those ones, though, I have interests in Aberlour 2006, Tomatin 2006, peated Bunnahabhain. I only remembered the first two the other day. I was pleased.

Those sound nice ... what are the casks John, Bourbon or Sherry? A peated Bunny ummm and the other 2 at cask stength will be ones to look forward to too.

Can you remember what the Bladdies were. I'm in Cask 699 & 701 and all I remember is that at least one is a wine cask of some sort but I've checked my purchase agreement and there is no indication as to what it is.

The Aberlour is a bourbon cask and I'm not sure about the Tomatin.

Those Bladnochs are wine casks. Last I heard they didn't taste great, but hopefully that will change.

The Bunnahabhain is a 2005 Margadale, bourbon cask. This is the one I'm looking forward to the most.

Incidentally the Aberlour is 6yo tomorrow :D . (the Tomatin is a few months older)
