Airfreighted? Won't be out until the end of the month? Where are the boxes coming from, China??

I'd love to own one, but it's too much for me. There's plenty of other good Cooleys I'll get instead.

i'm noticing a common theme here... any plans for including it in a society tasting? (or has there already been one and ive just missed it...)

I don't recall any mention of a tasting yet. There was that Turf Mór in December. Did someone mention that it has only been released.
I'd say it'll be a collectors item at that price. I cant justify that sort of outlay on sipping whiskey right now.

Bog Oak was the first whiskey poured at the very special christmas party last december

did you missed that Fionnán?

We actually tasted it twice .... back in 2010 at the Peat's Sake tasting, it was an early version of the Bog Oak (http://www.irishwhiskeysociety.com/even ... 2010-10-28) and we also had a bottle at the Christmas party.

Sorry for misinformation,I was sure that was turf mor. I'm using a phone to reply to this,so hopefully it works.
I remember the taste vividly of that whiskey too. Very organic if you know what I mean. There was no subtle tones of sherry or fruit trying to burst trough but that's probably just me.
