Has anyone read the reprint of "Truths About Whisky"? Any recommendation? to buy or not to buy?

I saw a review of it somewhere. Did David review it on whiskeynotes?

I have it, anyway, but haven't had time to read it yet. It's supposed to be interesting.

If you read the inside cover, you might recognise a few names...

An excellent read and well worth having in your Library in my opinion. The Irish Distillers did not cover themselves in glory for their neglect of he coffee still but their demise was admirable in one sence in their stead fast refusal to compromise to a lesser quality.

i would say it is a niceone to have, a few fold out pictures of distilleries in nice presentation
have not read it yet, but may start tomorrow, and then i know more
Happiness is having a rare steak,a bottle of whiskey, and a dog to eat the rare steak!!!

An Excellent piece of Irish whiskey literary history.Apart from getting into the mindset of the whiskey people of the day and their pride in authentisity and quality its one of the last remaining parchments testament to Irish whiskey history,Ian Buxton did us proud in his Classic reproduction..
