Let's talk whiskey.

Midleton 12yr olds

Just thinking there's a lot of them. How many distilleries have a wider range of 12 yr olds. Currently available;
Redbreast 12
Redbreast 12 CS
Powers John's Lane
Powers 12
Jameson 12
Jameson midleton reserve
Jameson bow st reserve
Tullamore dew 12

and soon to be joined by Yellow spot.

Did I miss anything?

True. I was thinking just about current ones but certainly if you go back even just a little while you could add:

Greenspot 12yo
Jameson 12yo Distillers edition
Jameson 12yo (Red Label)
And i think the first CWS single cask was a 12yo (blend).
And there was a german 12yo Midleton blend at some stage too.

That's the one I meant when I said the German one. It probably wasn't even German, was it? I was too lazy to look it up?

I was too lazy to read your post earlier, that's why I didn't notice you mentioned the German one, but yes, it's the German one. It was pretty nice. I still have a few of them.

I only seen this now.
You mentioned the Midleton Suddeutche Zeitung 12 year old.
I've been looking for this on for a while. Was it a nice one? Would you see Midleton launching a 12 year old for a cheaper price or do they feel they have the marked sewn up with the range you mentioned above?
