was this back when cooley were referring to various malt whiskeys as (i guess technically) PPS?

Correct Fionnán, this is probably a Malt but certainly not a PPS or SPS as we call them now.

I came across my bottle in Reids in Enniscorthy last year(now well empty),so you may get one locally. I've had problems buying spirits of people on ebay from England,they cannot sell outside the UK.I usually go to online shops instead.
