Midleton Single Pot Still, Single Cask

Hi folks,
great news from the SPS site :thumbsup:

Billy Leighton started last week selecting casks for a new Midleton SPS Single cask bottling.

One for CWS and one for the TIWC (DAA)

If we are lucky we get them before X-Mas

Any idea what kind of casks they're looking at, age?

It says: matured in 2nd fill bourbon casks and the oldest cask dates to 1991 and the youngest to 1994

Had a sneak taste of the 1994 sample, interesting to try a (B2) more subtle I think, I guess it would open up nicely with a bit a water (and a glass

)

Tried some of this today. Very nice indeed. Quite like the other ones, from what I remember. Tried the Bog Oak Connemara too.
