I would suggest you pick up an edition of "Lost Distilleries Of Ireland" by Brian Townsend.

Should be able to pick up a paper back version fairly cheaply on Amazon / Ebay or online book seller.

I'll detail the distilleries in that book

Bandon Distillery (1826-1929)

Sold their whiskey under the Allman name after owner James C Allman

The sold both pot Stil and Single Malt Whiskey

Glen Distillery Kilnap Co Corl (C.1802-1925)

Owner Daniel Callahan and produces Malt Whiskey

Midleton Co Cork (1825-1975)

this produced Whiskey under the Midleton Name with aged statements like 15yo. ALso have a bottling named Midleton Jubilee

Now housing the Midleton Jameson Visitors Centre. Was part of the IDL amalgamation of Jameson, Powers & Midleton followed by Bushmill later which has one it's own seperate way once again.

Midleton became part of CDC. Cork Distilleries Company which also consisted of 4 other Cork City Distilleries.

North Mall Distillery (1779-1920)

Water Course (1795-1975)

The Green York Street (1796-1980 although distilling ceased in 1870!!!!)

Daly's 32 John Street (1807-1869)

These would have been independent at one time but what brand names they would haev used is not something I can answer.

There was also a brand released by IDL (New Midleton) called Hewitts and very much end up being Cork Waterford Whiskey market wise. Now recently defunct. There was another older brand called Wise's which i think was by CDC

P.S. we would be very interested in hearing what your research turns up. Can you tell us what is it for? Please keep up updated.

Also worth bearing in mind is that various Cork Distillers used both Whiskey and Whisky.

A German whiskey enthusiast has a nice little site with pictures of labels and some of the first are of Cork distillers.

See HERE Under Old Labels.

Note: If you intend using these pictures please ask the site creators permission as a common curtsy.

I believe you can see a similar bottle in Midleton

Also in 7yo and 15yo

Worth a trip to the old Midleton distillery.

I've done some research on vintage bottlings so would be interested in your results
