What are the best ones?

Anyway, this is the Dubliner - http://www.moodiereport.com/document.ph ... c_id=28590

Packaging looks very like the Brogans Legacy.

The best known (Irish) one is probably Irish Mist. There is also Eblana as well. Not solely a whiskey liqueur but Coole Swan is very nice stuff as well.
There is a version of the Feckin range called Feckin Spiced which is quite liqueur-like. Never tried this one before but could be worth a try.

Yea amazingly like the brogans even the tube :o

Wasn't there one years ago called Mulligans which I think was meant to be a hot toddy mix or something. There was The Knot which was released in the states as a shot drink. Of course the multitude of Irish creams which are technically liqueurs. Celtic Crossing is another.

If you get a chance to taste it, there is a fantastic whiskey liqueur from Kilkenny called Ballylarkin. It's very more-ish!! J.

Spotted this one in Baltimore Co. Cork - Drombeg Irish Spirit, 22% AVB

Interestingly, claims to be distilled and matured in West Cork.

from: http://www.bizstartup.ie/news/item/1824 ... ecures-new "... Drombeg is unlike other brands on the market. “To date the consumer’s choice of drinks within the wood-matured brown beverage category was limited to high alcohol content products such as whiskey and brandy. On the other hand, the options within the long beverages category have been limited to fruit-derived or heavily sweetened products such as cream liqueurs, conventional whiskey liquors and schnapps-like products. Drombeg is unique in its class in providing a ‘savoury’, wood-matured brown spirit with the alcohol content of intermediate long beverages but with a sensory profile similar to standard high strength brown spirits.”

The Dubliner tastes like Cadbury's Crunchie.
