i have 18 gallons of wash for the potcheen-- i made it from flaked barley--not malted. The reason that i did it at all was that i originally thought the flaked was ok for the irish whiskey. After a bit of education i now will use 100% malted barley. ill be gone up north for about 2 weeks and then ill run the potcheen wash when i get back.
After that, 50 pounds of barley malt to mash for he irish style whiskey---gee it seems that i am never getting to it.
