Nose: A multitude of Fruit here, Ripe pear, cherry, plum and maybe a touch of freshly squeezed OJ, very light underlying malt. Very firm but smooth and mellow.
Taste: The fruitiness continues but tastes more like cranberry this time.
Finish: Again Dry woody spicy/pepper over a greater area of the tongue and much bolder that reg Tyrconnell. Maybe a bit of sweet liquorice or mint at the end also.
Comment: Much richer, smoother, fruitier and spicier than regular Tyrconnell. A far superior dram, not bad really.
