Nose: Even though it is only 40% quite a heavy smell of alcohol, Clove with citrus in the back ground

Taste: The Clove and Citrus from the nose continue onto the palate with light liquorice

Finish: Quite short with a Jameson type copper zing strangely enough ????

Comment: Not a winner for me..... quite one dimensiona

We were one of the first people to taste this before it was even released into the wild.
Only the "dignitaries" got their lips to it.
Also the 400 Aniversary, with me being one of, if not the first, to buy it on it's day of release.
