New blended Irish whiskey supplied by Cooley to Berniko for the US market only.
Colour: Golden Syrup
Nose: A lovely nose, aromas of candied orange peel, sugar and ginger and a hint of liquorice.
Taste: Lovely smooth balance between the peppery maltiness and the sweet citrus notes.
This contrasts nicely with the oaky notes. Almost Cointreau like in flavour.
Finish: Not very long but lingering gentle malty finish.
Comment: As it says on the label "A Fine Blend". A really good example of what can be achieved from a Cooley blend.

Tasting notes: "Bright old gold color. Aromas of honeyed nuts, cream in cereal, and earthy dried wildflowers follow through on a soft, supple entry to a dry medium body with a hint of cocoa, straw, and pepper. Finishes with a gentle, warming gingerbread accented fade."
