Redbreast Mano A Lámh

Postby Good Whiskey Hunting » Wed Sep 09, 2015 10:47 pm

This is a limited edition Redbreast. The bottle is familiar but it's presented with a cloth bag tied with a leather strap with a leather tag embossed with a Redbreast. A pocket on the bag has a pamphlet with a discription of how the casks are produced and when they reach our shores.

This has been matured in Sherry casks for 12 years although there is no age statement.
Nose : figs dried fruits like raisins or sultanas. Hints of pipe tobacco raw vanilla flavoured not smoked.

Tastes: toasted oak and pot still spice. Hint of pepper. Buttery toffee with almond. A lingering fruity taste.

Finish: butter and spice. Taste of more.
