Bushmills 1975 Millennium (1999)

Thios should be interesting as with 365 single casks of this released there technically 365 different versions out there.

In general this is held in high esteem but unfortunately the bottle I have does not live up to the general reputation of this bottling.

Cask No 127 Bottle No 'Angles Share'

I have had sampled at least 3 other seperate bottles and all have been great however this bottle is just ruined by an obvious soapness in both the nose and the taste. There are glimers of what it could of been but cant bring myself to disect it any further. What a disappointment and a waste of 120Euro :(

I look forward to some better and more favourable bottle review.

I think the Angles Share bottles are the bottles over the original amount predicted to come from each cask. When you were buying the casks, they said you'd get, say, 250 bottles. If the casks yielded over 250, the remainder was labeled "Angles Share".

You still got to keep the Angles' Share bottles... they were just a kind of bonus. This is if I have got it correctly.
