Any ideas on current values on these bottle?

Postby PhilT » Sat Sep 19, 2015 11:25 am

Hi,
I've just joined this forum and spend a good bit of time checking the collector forum with regards to a couple of bottles in my collection. Just looking for estimated values for re-insuring.

Connemara Peated Single Malt 'Noel Sweaney'

Bushmills 21yo Bottle #0692 (really only asking due to the low number of the bottle if this has any bearing on its value)

Next two curly ones.

Tyrconnell Cask 3169 - the oddity with this one is the incorrect back label showing 40%, the standard strength. All other bottles had to be sold with a correction sticker plastered across the back.

Connemara Cask Strength - the oddity with this one is no % stamp on the label.

Not sure if mislabeling is of any particular interest.

I would appear the the photos I have are too big, so I'll add them later.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Last couple....hope this isn't too painful a way to add photos.
The gold part of the label isn't playing ball when it comes to photographing.

And I had enough room for one more photo, so why not a pic of my favorite one of my collection

That's a great collection.
I'm not familiar with the Cooley prices. The Willie Napier are retailing at €750. Those Midleton Zietung bottles are getting scarcer and I'd say €4/500 now.
The bottle number has little bearing except probably 1. The price is still around €120 if that's the bottle I think.

The Cooley single casks have not appreciated much and appear not overly collectible but could do better with a little more time. The Bushmills not yet collectable imo.

Spirit Safe Circa €80-120.
Old Midleton Circa €200-300 (It is in Celtic Whiskey Shop for €600 but I'm skeptical as to whether there is demand for it at that price)
Connemara Cask 3713 €80-120 (Possible the first Connemara Singer Cask and was exclusive to Celtic Whiskey Shop)
Willie Napier Circa €500-600 (It is in Celtic Whiskey Shop for €750)
Bushmills 21yo = Although a 2002 bottling, Currently no real collectors value so retail is circa €135
Tyrconnell Cask 3169 €100-150 (This is the first Tyrconnell Single Cask release and was exclusive to Celtic Whiskey Shop)
Connemara Cask Strength €80-120

For insurance purposes I'd take the figures in Bold but for selling on the open market much less in many cases.

Thanks for that,

I'll note them down for insurance....as they'll only be dropping off the list in the event of disaster or with a large pour and a cube of ice :)
