Dungourney 1964 gone

Postby Good Whiskey Hunting » Wed Aug 05, 2015 11:40 am

It finally ran out after 21 years listed on IDL stock sheets.

It was great value considering its age and quality. The price in recent years has exploded but that's the current market.

We spoke of it many times and never found out how many were made. At last guess it was 1500. I'm not sure how many casks were vatted but it had to be at least 5. I'm basing this on a rough estimate of 300 bottle at 40% after 30 years.

I hope some day that a brand name 'Dungourney' will be released.
