Valuation for Irish Whiskies

Postby P.J. » Thu Apr 02, 2015 11:18 am

Hi all,
just wondering if anyone can tell me the value of these three bottles, which I'm considering selling :
(1) 150th Anniversary Cadenhead 750ml bottling from B. Daly Distillery, Tullamore. Distilled in 1949 and bottled in 1991 at 65.9% abv. Non chill filtered, non coloured.
(2) Redbreast 12 yr old 750 ml 40% abv, Bottled by Gilbeys.
(3) Kilbeggan 15 yr old, 70cl, 40% abv. (original box included)
Photo's available if required

Thanks,

P.J.

Hi PJ,
The Cadenhead's value is hard to gauge. They seen to change with the weather. I've seen miniatures valued at over £100.

The Redbreast is from the 1980's so should be valued around €150+.

The Kilbeggan 15. They were around €75 when they were released in 2009 I think. I'm guessing they are worth at least €120 now. I can't rec any at auction recently. I know I drank mine.

At a guestimate I would say a fair price maybe €500-700

(2) Redbreast 12 yr old 750 ml 40% abv, Bottled by Gilbeys.

Not sure on this as no idea what version it is so anything from €100-200.

(3) Kilbeggan 15 yr old, 70cl, 40% abv. (original box included)

Probably €100 is fair.

Willing to be corrected though

Will you ship to the US?

Does the 15 have a red capsule?

Can you send me pics at samarket@gmail.com?
