Middleton Very Rare 1993 available

Hi there,

I'm looking to sell my bottle of Middleton Very Rare 1993.

The bottle, case, documentation etc is all in excellent condition.

I'm aware of the value but don't know how to find this bottle a new home.

Any advice on where / how to sell would be much appreciated.

Being aware of the value and being able to realise the value are 2 very different things.

Further if you see a price in a retail shop that is not an actual value but a retail price. Private Collectors are not willing to pay such prices as they are usually seen as inflated.

Therefore you may need to manage you expectations. I see a 1992 is 429.99 & a 1994 is 419.99 in the celtic whiskey shop. To go through one of these shops you will be offer significantly less possibly less than half as vat will take a big chunk of the above price.

You will be lucky to get anywhere near that in my opinion and if approached here I would think 300-350 should be your bench mark.

Still not bad a min 100% return on the bottle which would have cost circa €115 back then (but I am open for correction on that).
