Knappogue Castle 1951 Pot still.

I have just been given a knappogue castle 1951 pot still whiskey bottled in 1987. Wondering would someone let me know if this came in a presentation box.thanks.

Came in a fairly plain wooden box with with wine velour on sponge padding and a brass name plate on the front cover.

If it is the one with the strap on the neck, it might not come in a box. I think. That one is a single cask.

The one with the strap on neck 'Aged 36 years' definitely when on sale first did not
come in a box. I saw a full shelf of them in Shannon Duty Free @ the time (July 1989)
& I bought one for £47. Back through there two/three years later and it was now in
a box & now costed £250 as I recall. I asked a staff member why the big increase and
apparently the original price was a 'mistake'. Richard Harris the well known Limerick Actor
( & Drinker) had been through there that day (as he was a regular through Shannon) and
thought it very amusing that a bottle of Irish would cost £250 ----- Lucky he's not around now

It is the one with the strap on the neck saying Aged 36 years. Thank you for your replies.
