Does anyone believe there's a chance of IDL improving the contents of the bottle rather than the packaging?

Hey Luke, it is a 95/100 rated whiskey ... Surely they can't do much more with it ;)

I must admit that I love what they have done with it ... Makes me want to buy a few.

Hi All,
I am just trying to get some more information on the Jameson St.Patrick`s Day bottling 2011.
It contains the standard Jameson Nas Whiskey.
Ther is a great Print on the front of the bottle.
A Irish artist (Paul Daly) did a great work in it.The design was inspired by the legendary Celtic illustrations in the book of Kells.(see the book at Trinity College Dublin)
Ther must be a 1L bottle and a 0.7L bottle. I have a 1L bottle,ther is a 0.7L bottle for sale at Waitrose.com
Any more information on this bottling?

That's fair enough. I'll pick up a bottle before it's too late and I have to pay auctions prices.
Cheers.

Kaixo Chico's,
I for one am very impressed with the St Pats edition, i loved embossed bottles and the design appeals to the youth who dont want to take the amber nectar as seriously as we do ,,,it also makes a nice addition to my collection..

Apparently it didn't get a wide distribution last year but there turned out to be lots of demand. So they went with the same design this year and distributed it more thoroughly. There will be a different design next year.

Is it the same as the Jameson NAS we get on the supermarket shelf?

Will this be the beginning of a new trend similar to Jack Daniels where there was a series called Scenes from Lynchburg or something where there was various commemorative bottles.
