Very interesting. It never crossed my mind that due to the world's economic status, some top brands would be considered luxuries, and sales would drop. Makes sense. I haven't really cut back, or went cheaper. But that's me.
Jack Daniel's held its own. The stuff is unique, and those who enjoy it would not move to bourbon if they could help it.
Hennessey held its own as well, being the "official drink" of the rap community. I remember drinking that while in the Army, hanging with some folks from Kentucky, who prefer cognac and coke. Not a bad drink at all, a little sweet.
