Your Music ...

Postby IrishWhiskeyChaser » Thu Jul 30, 2009 10:42 am

If people want to discus music or let us know of a good band that they like.

Me ? ... I'm a bit of a 70's rock child

I have a site in my favourites which I use quite a bit to listen to long past bands ... it covers various golden oldies from rock to pop but they are all live recording which is cool for a change and best of all free ...

Check out ...

I get a newsletter from Wolfgang's Vaults regularly, but have not looked at the website in ages.

I like lots of different music, from Burt Bacharach to Tom Waits... Oscar Peterson, Brad Mehldau, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, James Brown, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, Al Green...

You know I didn't remember what Wolfgang's Vault was. I was getting an email once a week but never read it. Only when you mentioned it did I remenber it was somethign to do with music. I haven't explored the site properly, but I'll give it a go.

I'm here on my own de na ne na .... AND nobody's home de na ne na ...

off to see the Legend that is Peter Green tonight in Limerick. Hopefully a great bluesy night in Dolans and not too much hype surrounding the gig which will hopefully mean a fully appreciative crowd. Concidently Fleetwood Mac are playing Dublin this week-end I know which will be better ;)

I'd love to see Peter Green live. Not a fan of the new Fleetwood Mac, though.

He plays a bit in Ireland. I think he made his comeback here after his spell of insanity, or whatever it was. Didn't pick up a guitar for years, I believe.
