The Insomniac's Forum

Postby IainB » Thu Jul 16, 2009 12:01 am

Just thought I'd set up a topic for those nights when you stay up late on your own, having a whiskey and chilling out. Sometimes you get all sorts of interesting ideas (well to you at the time) that you forget the next day. So if you're on the forum here anyway, and no one else is around, here's where you can put them.

I suggest you can only post here between midnight and 5am.

I just decided to have a quick look before I fell over ... I mean went to bed ... but that could be a while yet as I'm watching an old Richard Burton WW2 movie

After the RB15 & the J-15 I tried the Jameson Signatory Reserve and I must admit I thought it was much better than I previously thought.

Anyway on Balvennie 10yo now again a dram I always though was a bit light but not so tonight. Much better than the 12 Double Wood imo.

Here's the downside to the staying up late part. The kids have just woken up and the wife's going mental. Time to do my duty. If you enlist you must march. Goodnight all!

Just me then I guess.

Do you think you'll be on Ally's next trip? I think he's unsure as to what response he'll get this year.

Just finished one myself, can't remember the nose though. I'm having a Laga DE now and then I'll hit the hay - long drive to Mayo tomorrow. I've decided to the the Knappogue 51 with me and open it some night when my parents are around.
