Glasgow - Recommendations

I'll most likely be passing through Glasgow in October (on route to the Inner Hebrides! ;) )

Any suggestions as to where to stay and what to see/do/drink would be most welcome! :geek:

Bon Accord for a great pub
Mother India for a good restaurant

But the city is littered with great pubs
