I missed this event last year, but I'm looking forward to it now. It's a great opportunity to see how objective you, yourself are. The "blind" idea is superb - it forces you to accept that your nose/taste buds prefer Kilbeggan to Paddy or Jameson to Powers or whatever. I suspect many of us will find that our favourite on the night is not our usual tipple in the pub.
