This tasting is almost upon us.

I expect this one to be very interesting. It's always illuminating to taste across a single range and I like being able to say for sure which of a company's output I like most. I've never had the chance to try the Tullamore Dew Black so that's another highlight for me.

And, of course, there is real potential for a flood of innovation from this brand now that it has a new owner ready to invest. I am hoping for a few hints about the future.

I'm looking forward to it, I've always had a soft spot for Tullamore Dew.

I've had the Black, very tasty whiskey indeed. My bottle is long gone so it'll be a welcome refresh to the taste buds. I'm curious as to why this is not generally available here in Ireland, only available in the airport and the Heritage centre in Tullamore.

Well done David, it is always great to have those notes on line as sometimes mine taken on the night become a little illegible.
And congrats to Stephen too for standing up again, it made for a "different" kinda night and on reflection, change is good.
I wasn't a Tullamore man, but I'll be trying to get my hands on a bottle of that Black Label for sure.
